Why don't we give our best for the Lord, but we'll go out of our way to do whatever it takes to impress man? Whatever we do for the Lord is supposed to be wholeheartedly, but God always gets a half job. Why are we so caught up in the flesh that we can't see our ways or is it that we don't want to see? God help us!!!

God has blessed us tremendously and He always makes sure we are taken care of no matter what. God goes beyond the call of duty and we don't deserve His grace or mercy. Why does He go out of our way for us when we don't do what's required of us? Because He first loved us and He sent his only begotten son to die on the cross for our sins. That should be more than enough for us to do whatever God wants us to do.

It's time for us to go beyond the call of duty, like our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ did. We need to go that extra mile and step out of our comfort zone. We need to get to know the Lord better so that we have a better understanding and knowledge of what God wants us to do with our life. We will not enter Heaven if we don't do more than the minimum. We call ourselves doing just enough to get by, but that's not going to cut it. If Jesus wants us to tell someone that we love them, then why can't we go an extra mile and not tell them? Not only should we tell them, but we should show them as well. Give them a hug or a smile, take them to dinner, or invite them over for fellowship. Do whatever it takes to go that extra mile.
