How awesome to know that Jesus is alive and well. He is alive in our souls. God the Father sent His only begotten son to to be born through the virgin Mary. He was born in the flesh to show us how to live. Jesus was the perfect example to show us to live a righteous and holy life. He showed us how to give and how to love. He also showed us how to forgive, let go and move on. He showed us that we have power in the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit will sustain us and lead us and guide us in the right direction. He showed us that throgugh His death and resurrection we can go to the Father on the throne for all things in the name of Jesus. Is that awesome or what?

It's okay to get dressed up, buy Easter baskets for your kids and take pictures with the Easter bunny, but let's not be blinded by the real celebration. Easter is the celebration of life of Jesus Christ our Lord. Hallelujah Jesus is alive in you and me.
